WE BELIEVE

We Believe there is one God, whose eternal existence is in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three are equal, but distinct persons of the divine Trinity.

We Believe Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God; that He was born of the Virgin Mary; He died for humanity’s redemption; He ascended to Heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor.

We Believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Holy Scriptures consist of the Old and the New Testaments and were written by holy men inspired by the Holy Spirit. They are God’s revealed word to humanity and are a sufficient and infallibly true rule and guide to salvation and all Christian life, worship and service.

We Believe God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, provides salvation for all who repent and believe the Gospel. The grace of God is offered to all through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a gift of God.

We Believe those who abide in Christ and remain faithful and true to Him, through grace, will persevere with the assurance of eternal salvation.

We Believe sanctification for the believer is the process or results of God’s continual growth through the power of the Holy Spirit in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, for service to God and to humanity.

We Believe in three sacred gospel ordinances: Baptism, The Lord Supper, and Washing the Saints’ Feet. Baptism is giving a public witness of the individual’s faith and commitment to Jesus Christ as their Savior. The Lord’s Supper, also known as communion is commemoration of the death of Christ for our sins by using the bread and the wine as a symbol of His broken body and the wine the symbol of His shed blood. Washing the Saints’ Feet teaches humility, servanthood and the need for daily cleansing from all sin.

We Believe tithing is God's financial plan for supporting the work of the kingdom here on earth.

We Believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage between a man and a woman.

We Believe human life is sacred from conception to its natural end. We are to have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of all people.

We Believe we are to be known by our love for one another. Loving all the people Jesus died and rose again for.

We Believe in the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; in the resurrection of the dead; and in the final judgment.
